At IIT Madras Research Park, Cognizant plans to take up research activities in areas such as virtualization, machine learning, bots, semantic web and text mining as they are decisive in managing and utilizing computing resources and unstructured digital assets.

ARCI

ARCI is a state-of-the-art facility for research & development in advanced materials and associated processing technologies. The Powder Metallurgy programmes are largely aimed at developing
value-added products and exotic materials for the Indian industry. There is also significant focus on transformation of the otherwise mine burden to useful P/M products, energy conservation and development of permeable materials for varied applications.

AMADA Soft India

AMADA from Japan over two decades has built a strong relationship with various international universities and research institutes for providing "cutting-edge" engineering solutions to their customers. Continuing this trend of partnering with the world class research centers AMADA has now identified IITM as its innovative partner to bring about innovative engineering solutions in the CAD/ CAM domain. It has taken a significant amount of space at the Research park to locate various projects.

The Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT)
