IIT Madras Research Park (IITMRP) is looking for a passionate Project Civil Engineer to join the team.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering with First Class or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University / Institute with 8 years’ experience out of which 5 years in the executive level in Construction & Management of high rise Commercial / Office / IT buildings including interior works with various services such as Water Supply, STP, Scrubbers, Gas banks etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Preparation of preliminary drawings, specifications, detailed estimate and floating of tenders.

Execution of work as per specification, ensuring quality and safety.

▪ Monitoring Project progress, site supervision, coordination with vendors, PMC, Architects and creating periodical project status reports.

Recording measurement, preparation of as built drawings, maintaining inventory etc.

Co-ordinating for obtaining statutory approval & clearance such as CMDA, TNPCB, Fire Safety & Hazardous waste etc.
▪ Preparing Project Management documents such as project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement as informed.
▪ Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.

Skills Required
▪ Good Interpersonal skills,
▪ Fluency in English and Tamil(optional)
▪ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office
▪ Working knowledge of any project management software.
