BHEL R&D Gateway has completed 62 projects, 33 of which have been implemented commercially.

TCS interacts with IIT Madras on Data Centre Power Reduction, Energy Consumption in High- Rise Buildings, Smart Water Network – generating ten patents so far.
Caterpillar
Caterpillar India has executed R&D projects with IIT Madras worth over Rs. 2 crores. They have also offered internships to over 127 students and has recruited over 18 students so far.

Saint Gobain Research India has undertaken 22 R&D projects with IIT Madras faculty and students, 20 of which have been launched as profitable products and solutions in the market.

Trivitron Healthcare’s collaborative engagement with IIT Madras has resulted in shaping three innovative solutions – Diabetic Retinopathy Software Analysis Kit, Android-based Wireless ECG and a Slow Infusion Syringe Pump.

Vortex Engineering developed the world’s lowest power-consuming ATM in collaboration with IIT Madras.
