Professor Ashok Jhunjhunwala receives the Lifetime Achievement Award by the 21st Telecom Leadership Forum organized by Voice & Data, Cyber Media

Professor Ashok Jhunjhunwala, President – IITM Research Park, IITM Incubation Cell & Rural Technology Business Incubator (RTBI) was conferred the prestigious “Voice & Data Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 21st Edition of the Telecom Leadership Awards, held on 22nd March 2022 for his outstanding contribution to the Indian telecom ecosystem.
Prof. Jhunjhunwala, deemed a pioneer in nurturing Industry-Academia interaction in India towards R&D, Innovation and Product Development, was felicitated for his instrumental role in conceptualising IITM Research Park, an innovation paradigm ecosystem, today driving the roadmap towards achieving mammoth technological goals for India.
He was also commended for his numerous contributions to the largescale commercialization of impactful, unique & affordable technology-based solutions in telecom, banking, renewable energy, and electric vehicles, through the IITM Incubation Cell and Rural Technology Business Incubator (RTBI).
The 21st edition of the Telecom Leadership Forum, a much anticipated, annual telecom industry event from India’s leading and oldest Telecom Industry Magazine, also featured and brought together some of the most pioneering minds, leaders, visionaries and eminent stakeholders across the Indian Telecom and Digital ecosystem under one roof.
